Download this file to
install the version 5.9.7
If you already have WSJT 3.x or 4.x installed, I suggest that you use a new
installation directory. The default new directory is C:\Program Files\WSJT6.
Installation of WSJT for Linux or FreeBSD must presently be done
from the source code, which can be downloaded from
http://developer.berlios.de/projects/wsjt/. These versions are intended
mainly for programmers who are knowledgeable about their operating systems and
have at least passing familiarity with Python, C, and Fortran.

Who is Joe Taylor, K1JT?
Joe is 1993 Nobel Laureate in Physics for the discovery of a new type of pulsar,
a discovery that has opened up new possibilities for the study of gravitation.
See The
Princeton Pulsar Group
which is part of the Gravity Group in the
Department of Physics at Princeton University. They are
particularly interested in studies of radio pulsars, with active research
efforts aimed at high precision timing, studies of the pulsar emission mechanism,
and, of course, the continuing search for new pulsars.
