Dear VHF-friends,
after again a lot of requests in the magazines FT, CQ-DL, FA as well as
in several foreign publications, and via packet-radio
(DXCs and BBS) and via internet, please do welcome our result of the:
144 MHz (M)ost (W)anted (S)quare inquiry 2003
of our "VHF-DX-Group DL-West". The details were compiled in the time
periode between december 2002 and 06 march 2003. The inquiry has been
taken since 1993 and also this year we have seen a high figure of
participants from all over europe. We received 94 votes (while 2 of them
cames to late, sorry)

Some comments about the above listing:
The figures (eg.: 45*) behind the square, will give you an idea how many
people would like an activity on 144 MHz for this special square. Der
both figures at the end of each line, will show the percentage votes in
detail between 2003 and 2002.
Also this year we have a lot of squares from eastern and south-east part
of europe at the top of our list! Very good to see, that the the
highscores of past years have had fallen far down in these list. (KN49
is now on place 166 - KN39 on 186 - KN48 on 185). As well KN30 and lots
of irish squares fallen far away... many thanks for all expeditionaers
for using our list...!!!
Again many thanks to all participants in the list 2003 and specially to
DL8HCZ, DK3XT, DK5YA, OH5IY, EA6VQ and PA2CHR who built up the mw-dxcc
2003 these year again! Hope to meet you soon again in the air - possible
