50 MHz was open
from early morning all across Europe and Near East with MUF's reaching
almost 140 Mhz from time to time. That was promising. In the early
afternoon a huge cloud was moving slowly west from DL to UK reaching
high levels up to 130 MHz but nil on 144. Later the second big
cloud above Northern Italy was building fast and 50 MHz was
a hell. Suddenly at 16.40 there was some BC from EA and F into
YU, YO and LZ and at 16.50 UT 144 was open from Southern France
and Northern Spain into LZ with deep QSB. Same time BC from LZ was
also into DL and some BC from SV into HB9 while 3V8 BC was into OE
and OK. |
